Marc Klok reveals Shayne Pattynama rejects Persib Bandung move

According to Detik Jabar, Persib Bandung captain Marc Klok has confirmed that Shayne Pattynama will not be joining Maung Bandung for the 2025/2026 Liga 1 season.

Klok — who shares the same agency Status Pro Sport with Pattynama — revealed that the Indonesian national team left-back has already decided on his new club.

“He has signed a contract, but not with Persib. Definitely not with Persib,” Klok stated firmly.

Speculation about Pattynama’s future arose after the 26-year-old decided to leave KAS Eupen — a club where he struggled to secure regular playing time.

Persib Bandung themselves are in need of a new left-back following Edo Febriansyah’s departure to Dewa United.

When asked further about Pattynama’s destination, Klok chose not to disclose the information and responded with a joke.

“How much are you willing to pay for the information?” Klok said with a laugh.
