Manuel Gonzalez returns to winning ways at Italian Moto2 GP

Manuel Gonzalez of Liqui Moly Dynavolt Intact GP conquered the Mugello Circuit, Tuscany — securing a brilliant victory in the 19-lap Italian Moto2 GP race.

The Spanish rider showcased impressive performance mid-race — delivering brilliant maneuvers against his main rival in the 2025 Moto2 world championship battle, Aron Canet of Fantic Racing Lino Sonego.

Albert Arenas from Italjet Gresini secured second place, while Canet had to settle for third podium position. VR46 Academy graduate Celestino Vietti managed to break into top five.

Although Deniz Oncu initially led the race — the Turkish rider later struggled to maintain his position due to several technical mistakes.

This victory marks a comeback moment for Gonzalez — who previously failed to achieve maximum results in the last two series at British GP and Aragon GP.
