Mangekyou 2025

Ukrainian Dota 2 youngster Mark “Mangekyou” Kharlamov just sent shockwaves across Europe by hitting 17,000 MMR —the first player ever to reach the numbers this year. The 19-year-old did it on April 7, making him only the second player in Europe’s pubs to hit 17k.

Mangekyou pulled this off with crazy win rates on his go-to heroes: Night Stalker (83% wins), Terrorblade (80%), and Beastmaster (64%). And this isn’t even his first try—he already broke records back in January when he became the first European pub player to hit 16k MMR, surpassing most of older pros.

By now, he’s rubbing shoulders with elite Europe pub stars like Ammar “ATF” Al-Assaf and Alimzan “watson” Islambekov. He’s got a lot of potential to push that MMR even higher soon.

No rush to the big leagues

Despite becoming one of hot prospects in the offlaner market, he’s in no hurry to jump back into pro Dota. Instead, he wants to hone his skills, learning new heroes, and growing his Twitch channel.

His pro career kicked off in 2024 with Shopify Rebellion in North America, teaming up with Enzo “Timado” Gianoli and Kirill “Hellscream” Lagutik. The trio helped the squad qualify for events like ESL One Bangkok 2024 and the Raleigh 2025 qualifiers. Shortly in January, however, he left the team for undisclosed reasons.

At the moment, Mangekyou plays for Apple City Gang, a rising Ukrainian team in Season 25 of the European Pro League. After a recent playoff victory against Quantum, the squad has emerged as one of the tournament’s top contenders. With his rising star power, it’s only a matter of time before top-tier teams come knocking with offers for him to join the big stage.
