Manchester United Target Lyon Midfielder Corentin Tolisso

Corentin Tolisso of Lyon has emerged as Manchester United’s latest transfer target — with the club making direct contact with the player’s team.

The 30-year-old French midfielder — who serves as Lyon’s captain following Alexandre Lacazette’s departure — isn’t keen on leaving the club, but his last season’s performance and Lyon’s financial situation could facilitate a transfer.

Competition for Tolisso’s signature is intense, with Saudi Arabian club Neom and Atletico Madrid also showing interest. While rejecting offers from Turkey, the player appears more open to a Premier League move.

Elsewhere, Bayern Munich and Arsenal are competing to secure Crystal Palace attacking midfielder Eberechi Eze. Bayern needs attacking reinforcement after Jamal Musiala suffered a severe injury at the Club World Cup.

Meanwhile, Barcelona is approaching Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, who appears to be out of the manager’s plans following his loan spell at Aston Villa.
