Manchester United target Chelsea outcast after Mbeumo bid rejected

Manchester United remain active in the summer 2025 transfer window — the club is now targeting a striker who is not in Chelsea’s plans after signing Matheus Cunha.

The Red Devils previously attempted to bring in Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford with a bid of 55 million pounds, but the proposal fell short of The Bees’ asking price of 62.5 million pounds.

Failed negotiations with Brentford have led Manchester United management — who still wish to add two new forwards — to turn their attention to a Chelsea player who is not part of the team’s plans for the upcoming season.
