Manchester United Shift Target from Gyökeres to Osimhen

Manchester United are considering a shift in their transfer strategy — moving from Viktor Gyökeres to Victor Osimhen as their primary striker target.

According to The Sun, the Red Devils initially targeted Sporting CP striker Gyökeres, but competition from Arsenal has forced them to prepare alternatives. Osimhen — who scored 37 goals in 39 matches for Galatasaray last season — has emerged as the next primary option.

Meanwhile, Athletic Club’s Nico Williams has caught Barcelona’s attention. The 22-year-old winger reportedly prefers to stay in LaLiga, despite Arsenal and Bayern Munich being ready to activate his release clause.

Other emerging transfer rumors include:

  • Napoli targeting Liverpool duo Darwin Núñez and Federico Chiesa
  • Kyle Walker drawing interest from Turkish clubs Fenerbahce and Galatasaray
  • Bayern Munich open to releasing Leon Goretzka for suitable offers
  • Monaco planning to bring in Ansu Fati and Paul Pogba
  • Arsenal ready to let Oleksandr Zinchenko go for £10-15 million
