Manchester United ready to release 10 star players in summer transfer window

Manchester United is preparing for a major squad overhaul in the upcoming summer transfer window. According to Manchester Evening News, the club plans to release up to 10 players — including Marcus Rashford and Casemiro.

Several players will leave the club under various circumstances. Jonny Evans and Tom Heaton are reportedly set to retire, while Christian Eriksen and Victor Lindelöf will be released on free transfers.

Players who could be sold to raise funds for new transfers include:

Meanwhile, United is targeting young Fenerbahce defender — Yusuf Akcicek. The 19-year-old has also attracted interest from Tottenham, Bayern Munich, Atlético Madrid, Napoli and RB Leipzig.

Regarding loan players, Jadon Sancho who is currently on loan at Chelsea reportedly wants to return to Borussia Dortmund for a third spell after his loan period ends.
