Manchester United joins race for Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike

According to Sky Sports Deutschland, Manchester United has joined the race for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike — the club made inquiries about the 22-year-old player this week.

Ekitike’s impressive performance last season — with 22 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances across all competitions — has attracted attention from several elite European clubs.

Liverpool and Chelsea have also shown serious interest, but Frankfurt maintains their €100 million valuation for their talented striker.

Meanwhile, Darwin Núñez’s future at Liverpool becomes increasingly uncertain — Napoli has made contact to acquire the 25-year-old striker. Núñez, who only scored five goals in 30 league appearances last season, is open to offers from European and Saudi Arabian clubs.
