Manchester United Complete Matheus Cunha Signing from Wolves

Manchester United have completed the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolverhampton Wanderers — activating his £62.5 million release clause which will be paid over two years.

The Brazilian international striker has signed a five-year contract until 2030, with an option for an additional season. This announcement follows the initial agreement reached between the clubs in early June.

“It’s difficult to express my feelings about becoming a Manchester United player. Since childhood in Brazil, I watched Premier League games at my grandmother’s house and United was my favorite English team,” stated Cunha.

The 25-year-old forward impressed at Wolves last season with 17 goals and six assists across all competitions. His international experience includes 15 caps for Brazil — with his first goal coming against Argentina a few months ago.
