Manchester United Close to Completing Bryan Mbeumo Transfer Worth £70 Million

According to ESPN, Manchester United are in the final stages of securing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford — with a transfer fee exceeding £70 million ($94m).

The Cameroon forward has completed his medical examination and agreed to personal contract terms — with an official announcement planned before the team departs for Chicago next Tuesday.

The Red Devils will play three preseason matches in the United States visiting Chicago, New York, and Atlanta — following their recent goalless draw against Leeds United in Stockholm.

Mbeumo will become United’s second major summer signing after the arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolves for £62.5 million. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford is not expected to join the US tour as he is in the process of securing a loan move to Barcelona.
