Manchester United Close to Completing £70 Million Bryan Mbeumo Transfer

According to ESPN, Manchester United are on the verge of completing the transfer of Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford — with the deal value exceeding £70 million.

The Cameroon international striker will become the second recruitment under Ruben Amorim following the arrival of Matheus Cunha from Wolves earlier this summer.

The base agreement of £65 million with additional bonuses potentially pushing the total transfer value beyond £70 million — making it one of the summer’s biggest transfers. Mbeumo, who scored 20 Premier League goals last season, is scheduled to undergo medical tests this weekend.

The same sources indicate that the 25-year-old player is expected to join the squad traveling to Chicago for the pre-season American tour. The transfer situation has become more complex as Brentford also faces several offers for Mbeumo’s teammate — Yoane Wissa.
