Omar Berrada, Manchester United CEO, has announced the club will hold two additional matches in Asia after the 2024-25 Premier League season ends — a move aimed at boosting club revenue.

“Tour fixtures drive significant additional revenue which help make the club stronger, allowing us to keep investing in success on the pitch,” explained Berrada.

The team will face ASEAN All Stars in Kuala Lumpur on May 28 — just three days after their final Premier League match against Aston Villa. The tour, expected to generate €10 million, comes amid club losses of £300 million over the past three years.

A packed schedule awaits the United squad with a minimum of 57 matches this season, plus potential Europa League final in Bilbao. Several players must also join their national teams for the international window in early June.

Preparations for the 2025-26 season will begin with a friendly against Leeds United in Stockholm on July 19—followed by a three-game tour in the United States starting July 22.
