Manchester City Receives Heavy Fine for Multiple Kick-off Delays

According to Tuttomercato, Manchester City has received a significant fine from the Premier League for multiple kick-off delays during the 2024-2025 season.

Pep Guardiola’s side was found to have delayed match starts nine times without valid justification — with the most severe incident occurring during the Manchester derby last December.

The season proved challenging for The Citizens who finished third in the Premier League standings. They also exited the League Cup in the fourth round and missed out on the FA Cup after losing to Crystal Palace in the final.
