Manchester City displayed a dominant performance against Al Ain with a convincing 6-0 victory in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.

The Citizens immediately showed their prowess in the first half — three goals were scored through Ilkay Guendogan in the 8th minute, Claudio Echeverri in the 27th minute, and Erling Haaland’s penalty kick during injury time.

Pep Guardiola’s team’s attack became unstoppable in the second half — three additional goals came from Guendogan’s brace in the 73rd minute, followed by Oscar Bobb in the 84th minute, and completed by Rayan Cherki near the end of the match.

This result secured Manchester City’s qualification to the round of 16 from Group G alongside Juventus, who previously played against Wydad AC at Lincoln Financial Field.
