Maman Abdurahman joins Persija Jakarta coaching staff

Maman Abdurahman officially joins Persija Jakarta ahead of the 2025-2026 season — not as a player but as part of the Persija Youth Development coaching team.

The announcement was made through Persija Elite Pro Academy’s Instagram account, confirming the recruitment of the former Indonesia national team player to handle the club’s youth development.

“From the field to the coaching chair, Persija officially contracts Maman Abdurahman as Persija Youth Development coaching team,” stated the club’s official statement.

“Welcome aboard, Maman Abdurahman, let’s together bring success and produce talented young players for Persija and Indonesia.”

This decision comes after Maman Abdurahman announced his retirement from his professional playing career.
