Malut United fires coach and technical director for embezzlement

Malut United management has taken decisive action by dismissing Imran Nahumarury and Yeyen Tumena — both accused of embezzling club funds during their tenure.

Imran Nahumarury who served as head coach for the past two years, along with Yeyen Tumena as technical director — had recorded remarkable achievements for the North Maluku-based team.

The achievements of both figures were impressive:

• Successfully promoted the team to Liga 1 2024/2025
• Secured third position in their debut Liga 1 season
• Received contract extensions until 2026

However, these positive accomplishments were tainted by embezzlement allegations — which ultimately forced club management to make the decision to terminate both officials.
