Malut United Extends Contracts of Two Key Foreign Players

Malut United FC has announced the contract extension of their two foreign players — Wbeymar Angulo and Chechu Meneses.

Wbeymar Angulo — who became the player with the most playing time last season — has signed his new contract on Wednesday (18/6). This key midfielder recorded 33 appearances in Liga 1 during the 2024-2025 season, missing only one match against PSBS Biak due to card accumulation.

With a total of 2,926 minutes played, the number 16 player has become the backbone of Laskar Kie Raha — proving his crucial role in the team’s playing scheme.

“Malut United feels like home to me. I’ve never experienced such family atmosphere in any other club or country,” expressed Angulo.

“Angulo has maintained a positive record throughout the 2024-2025 season,” said Malut United COO, Willem D. Nanlohy.
