Malr1ne Acknowledges Team Falcons’ ESL DreamLeague Season 26 Struggles

Stanislav “Malr1ne” Potorak, the mid laner for Dota 2 Team Falcons, recently issued an apology following his team’s disappointing performance in ESL DreamLeague Season 26.

The squad struggled to maintain consistency during the Group B qualifiers and was ultimately eliminated after a tiebreaker loss to Gaimin Gladiators, failing to advance to the second group stage. This follows a pattern of early exits in recent high-profile tournaments.

In response to the results, several Falcons players, including Malr1ne, took to social media to apologize to fans and ask for continued support as they work to rebuild their confidence ahead of future events. Malr1ne openly acknowledged the team’s poor form in recent months.

“I think everyone realizes that we are in bad shape. There are reasons, but there are no excuses. It’s just the way the circumstances are.

I will prepare, my team will also prepare, but I am personally responsible for myself. I will be, as they say, tearing it up to the fullest. Sorry and thank you for your support, and have a good day,” he said on Telegram.

Looking ahead, Falcons face critical challenges at the Riyadh Masters 2025 in July and The International 2025 in September. These events will test the team’s capability to reverse their downward trend and reclaim their status as a top contender on the global stage.
