Malaysia U-23 coach ready to face Indonesian supporters’ pressure at SUGBK

Ahead of the crucial ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 match, Malaysia U-23 national team coach Nafuzi Zain acknowledges the tough challenge of playing in front of Indonesian supporters — the match will be held at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium (SUGBK), Jakarta, as reported by Harian Metro.

The SUGBK atmosphere filled with home supporters becomes a special concern for the visiting team — however, this does not diminish the spirit of the Malaysia U-23 squad to perform at their best in the final group match.

“We know Indonesian supporters are extraordinary and very fanatic, but our players don’t lack fighting spirit,” stated Nafuzi Zain.

“This is the time to prove their abilities,” he added confidently.
