Malaysia U-23 coach favors Indonesia to win ASEAN Cup U-23

Nafuzi Zain, Malaysia U-23 national team coach, predicts Indonesia to win ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 — while still targeting his team to reach the final match.

Group A of the tournament brings together four nations:

• Indonesia
• Malaysia
• Philippines
• Brunei Darussalam

This biennial competition will be held at two venues — Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium Jakarta and Candrabhaga Stadium Bekasi in mid-July.

Young Malayan Tigers have prepared 30 players for the tournament previously known as AFF U-23 Cup. The opening match will feature Malaysia against Philippines, while Indonesia will face Brunei Darussalam in the evening schedule.
