Malaysia U-23 coach begins analyzing Indonesia’s strength ahead of ASEAN Cup

Malaysia U-23 national team coach Nafuzi Zain — former tactician of Kedah Darul Aman — is currently focusing on analyzing the strengths of opponent teams in Group A of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025.

Malaysia is grouped in Group A alongside U-23 national teams of Indonesia, Brunei Darussalam, and Philippines — a tournament that will be held at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta and Patriot Candrabhaga Stadium, Bekasi.

Nafuzi Zain admits he still lacks detailed knowledge about the opponent teams’ strengths — this drives him to maximize preparation time by analyzing each potential opponent of Young Harimau Malaya in the tournament scheduled for July 15 to 29.
