Malaysia U-23 begins preparation to face Indonesia in ASEAN Cup 2025

According to Astro Arena, Malaysia U-23 national team has set preparation plans ahead of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 in Jakarta — the Young Tigers are drawn in Group A alongside Indonesia, Philippines, and Brunei Darussalam.

Nafuzi Zain — former coach of Terengganu FC and Kedah Darul Aman — was appointed as head coach of Malaysia U-23 team earlier this year.

“The squad will report for the first time on July 1,” Nafuzi told Astro Arena.

The 46-year-old coach also mentioned collaboration with Peter Cklamovski — Malaysia senior national team coach who also started his duties since January.
