Malaysia Set to Naturalize Rodrigo Holgado Soon

According to Colombian journalist @PSierraR, the Malaysia national football team is in the process of naturalizing Argentine striker Rodrigo Holgado.

“Malaysia has Rodrigo Holgado among its players. There are still a few passport-related details to finalize, but they are expediting the process from Asia,” wrote Sierra on his X account.

Holgado, currently 29 years old, is a striker for CD America, a club competing in the Colombian league. The Argentine forward joined CD America in early 2024 and remains under contract until the end of 2026.
