Malaysia ready to compete in two Japan Open 2025 finals

The Japan Open 2025 enters its final stage at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium on Sunday (20/7). This BWF Super 750 tournament — which no longer has Indonesian representatives since the quarter-finals — will showcase exciting battles in several categories.

In the mixed doubles match, Thailand’s pair Dechapol Puavaranukroh/Supissara Paewsampran — who defeated top seeds from China Feng Yan Zhe/Huang Dong Ping in the semifinals with a score of 21-13, 21-17 — will face second seeds Jiang Zhen Bang/Wei Ya Xin from China.

Meanwhile in women’s singles, the tournament’s top two seeds — scheduled as the second final match — will face each other to compete for the championship title.
