Malaysia Crushes Brunei 7-1 in ASEAN Cup U-23

Malaysia U-23 national team recorded a commanding victory over Brunei Darussalam with a score of 7-1 in the Group A match of ASEAN Cup U-23 2025 at Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

Malaysia’s coach, Nafuzi Zain expressed his satisfaction after the match.

“We really needed this win after losing to Philippines. The players performed their duties well. Most importantly, no players were injured in this match,” said Zain.

This victory marks Malaysia’s first win in the tournament — following their 0-2 defeat to Philippines three days ago. The Young Tigers are now targeting their next victory against Indonesia U-23 national team.
