Maarten Paes loses to Hugo Lloris as FC Dallas meets LAFC

Maarten Paes had to acknowledge Hugo Lloris’s superiority when FC Dallas visited Los Angeles FC’s home ground in Major League Soccer continuation, Sunday (13/7).

LAFC — the club that won MLS 2022 — showed dominance with 65 percent ball possession. The hosts managed to release 10 shots on target, compared to one from FC Dallas.

Nathan Ordaz and Deni Bouanga each scored goals that led LAFC to a 2-0 victory. Meanwhile, Hugo Lloris — the 2018 World Cup winning goalkeeper with France — successfully recorded a clean sheet.

Notably, LAFC recently gained additional strength with Juventus legend Giorgio Chiellini joining as a minority club owner.
