Maarten Paes Marks 100 MLS Appearances with FC Dallas

Indonesian National Team Goalkeeper Honored at Allianz Field

Maarten Paes, the primary goalkeeper for the Indonesian national team and FC Dallas, celebrated a major milestone in his professional career by reaching 100 appearances in Major League Soccer (MLS).

The 26-year-old was honored with a special commemorative jersey following a goalless draw against Minnesota United FC at Allianz Field.

“Thank you, especially to the players who have been here for three, four years,” said Paes in the locker room after receiving the special jersey.

Paes also highlighted the team’s defensive improvement. “Finally a clean sheet after nine matches, we only conceded one goal, so I’m very happy with this,” he added.

Since joining FC Dallas in 2022, Paes has become a key figure between the posts. His consistent performances and quick reflexes have made him one of the most reliable goalkeepers in the MLS, continuing to bring pride to Indonesian football on the international stage.
