Luka Modric to lead AC Milan’s new project next season

Luka Modric is projected to become the leading figure in AC Milan’s transformation, which will undergo significant changes in the upcoming season.

I Rossoneri’s journey has changed dramatically since winning the scudetto three years ago — when Stefano Pioli’s squad managed to edge Inter by two points in the final standings of Serie A 2021-2022.

Under new coach Massimiliano Allegri, almost all members of that championship team have left the club, with Theo Hernandez becoming the latest player set to join Al Hilal.

Currently, only three main pillars remain from the 2021-2022 championship squad:

Matteo Gabbia remains despite his previous reserve status, while Ismael Bennacer, Tommaso Pobega, and Alexis Saelemaekers have returned to the club after their loan spells ended.
