Luka Modric officially joins AC Milan with one-year contract

According to AC Milan’s official website, Luka Modric has officially joined the Italian club with a contract until June 2026 — including an option for one additional year.

“AC Milan proudly announces that Luka Modric has signed a contract until June 30, 2026, with an extension option until June 30, 2027,” states the club’s official announcement.

The Croatian midfielder ends his 13-year journey with Real Madrid — collecting 28 trophies including six Champions League titles.

Modric’s presence at San Siro is expected to bring positive impact similar to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s influence — considering his experience with Croatian national team that finished as 2018 World Cup runner-up and third place in 2022 edition.
