Luka Modric, the 39-year-old midfielder from Real Madrid, has officially become a minority shareholder in Swansea City, the Championship club where Nathan Tjoe-A-On, the Indonesian national team defender, plays.

Modric joins as a co-owner alongside other investors such as Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt, Nigel Morris, and Jason Cohen, who took over ownership from Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan since November 2024.

“I’m happy that Luka has joined as an investor and co-owner,” said Swansea City CEO, Tom Gorringe.

The presence of Luka Modric, who has won 28 titles with Real Madrid, including 6 Champions League trophies, is expected to raise the global profile of The Swans and have a positive impact on the team’s performance.
