Luka Modric Leaves Real Madrid, Possible Move to Swansea City?

Luka Modric has announced his departure from Real Madrid after 13 years at the club — the decision comes as his contract ends this season.

The 39-year-old midfielder will still play in the final La Liga match this season and the FIFA Club World Cup next month before officially leaving Los Blancos.

Interestingly, Modric, who is a minority shareholder of Swansea City — an English Championship club — is now linked with a possible move to the team.

Swansea City, currently home to Indonesian player Nathan Tjoe-A-On, could become the next destination for the former Tottenham Hotspur player — offering them a chance to play together next season.
