Luis Nani brings Champions League trophy to Jakarta and enjoys local coffee

Luis Nani, former star of Manchester United, attended the UEFA Champions League Trophy Tour 2025 at ASHTA Park, Jakarta yesterday. The Portuguese player showed the prestigious Champions League trophy to fans and the media present.

“I think it’s important for everyone to see a beautiful trophy like this. I’m happy that fans around the world can see and hold it. I hope fans here feel the energy of the Champions League,” said Nani.

During his visit to Jakarta, Nani took the opportunity to explore local culinary delights — he was seen enjoying coffee and sweet potatoes at Toko Dunia Kopi, Pasar Santa, South Jakarta. This cafe, owned by Suradi, is known as a favorite spot for officials and international tourists.

The retired player had a brilliant career — winning the Champions League with Manchester United in 2008 and the EURO 2016 with Portugal. After spending eight years at Old Trafford with 13 trophies, Nani played for various clubs including Fenerbahce, Valencia, Orlando City, Venezia, and Melbourne City, before ending his career at Estrela da Amadora.
