Luis Enrique praises Joao Neves’ brilliant performance as PSG defeat Inter Miami

Luis Enrique praised the outstanding performance of young Portuguese midfielder Joao Neves — who shined brilliantly as Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) defeated Inter Miami in the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 Round of 16.

The match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium yesterday evening ended with PSG’s convincing 4-0 victory over Lionel Messi’s team.

Joao Neves opened the scoring for PSG in the sixth minute — converting a free kick from Vitinha with an accurate header that goalkeeper Oscar Ustari couldn’t reach. Six minutes before halftime, PSG added three more goals, with Neves again putting his name on the scoresheet.
