Lucy Bronze: Lauren James is Most Dangerous Player at Euro 2025

Lucy Bronze has declared that no player matches her teammate Lauren James in creating opportunities at Euro 2025.

England bounced back from their 2-1 defeat to France by defeating Netherlands 4-0 — where James scored twice after being deployed on the right wing.

“We just need to get LJ the ball in dangerous positions and a goal can come from anywhere,” said Bronze. “She’s probably the best player in this tournament for something special.”

“I know there are players like Putellas and Bonmatí, lots of talented players, but LJ has something special. She’s still young, not at 100% yet, so hopefully we can progress and she keeps developing,” added Bronze.

Netherlands coach Andries Jonker acknowledged James’ movement and strength makes her difficult to handle. Bronze also praised her teammate’s physical power that is rare among female players.

England now needs a win against Wales on Sunday to secure their place in the knockout stages. Bronze is confident in her team’s recovery after receiving support from former Lionesses including Jill Scott and Toni Duggan.
