Luca Marini targets comeback at German MotoGP after severe injury

Luca Marini — Honda HRC Castrol rider and Valentino Rossi’s brother — shares encouraging news about his recovery progress following a serious accident at the Suzuka 8 Hours event.

The Italian rider suffered broken bones and a punctured lung, but his condition is steadily improving — he has already begun training sessions.

Marini aims to make his comeback at round 11 of the 2025 German MotoGP, scheduled at Sachsenring Circuit on July 11-13.

Sachsenring Circuit holds positive memories for Marini from his Ducati days — he consistently finished in the top five, with his best result being fourth place in the 2023 sprint race. At the same track, he also secured his first points with Honda last season.
