Luca Marini ready for comeback at German MotoGP after severe injury

According to HRC’s official website, Luca Marini — Valentino Rossi’s younger brother — will return to German MotoGP at Sachsenring Circuit this weekend after missing several rounds due to injury.

The Italian rider has completed a two-day private testing session in Brno — confirming his readiness to ride the Honda RC213V since his last appearance at the British GP.

“I’m very happy to be back, to ride the bike again, meet everyone in the team, and continue working on this project,” stated Marini.

“Luca Marini will race alongside Joan Mir at the German GP, as Honda HRC continues to focus on improvements and achieving future success,” reads HRC’s official statement.

Though still in recovery phase, the 28-year-old rider is determined to improve his performance and fitness after experiencing an incident during Suzuka 8 Hours testing about six weeks ago.
