LOUD Withdraws from Americas Qualifier of Esports World Cup 2025

Brazilian Valorant powerhouse LOUD has withdrawn from the Esports World Cup 2025 Americas Qualifier, scheduled to run from May 16 to 25, due to visa issues affecting one of their players.

In a social media statement, the team confirmed that unresolved visa approvals for a player—likely Lucca “lukxo” Travaioli, who joined the roster in mid-January—forced their withdrawal from this critical qualifier.

Additionally, LOUD has yet to secure a replacement for Arthur “tuyz” Vieira, who recently left the team. The organization now focuses to strengthen its roster and prepare for VCT 2025: Americas Stage 2, set to begin this June.

LOUD’s exit grants KRÜ Esports, their scheduled upper-bracket opponent, an automatic 2-0 victory and a spot in the next round. KRÜ will face the winner of tomorrow’s match between Cloud9 and 2GAME.

LOUD’s absence is expected to slightly impact viewership for the qualifier, as the Brazilian, and their other rivals, is known for their passionate fanbases and entertainment in major tournaments.
