Liverpool made history by equaling Manchester United’s record of 20 domestic league titles with a commanding 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at a packed Anfield.

A spectacular goal from Alexis Mac Allister in the 24th minute — which put Liverpool ahead — sparked an outpouring of joy from supporters who sang non-stop long after the final whistle.

The festive atmosphere saw fans repeatedly chant “Champions!” during the second half — with the match momentarily paused to remove a deflated Premier League trophy balloon from the pitch.

Liverpool players and staff rushed onto the field at the final whistle, dancing to Dua Lipa’s “One Kiss is All it Takes,” the club’s unofficial anthem since the 2018 Champions League final.

Unlike the 2020 league title under Jürgen Klopp, which was celebrated behind closed doors due to the pandemic, this time thousands of ticketless fans partied outside the stadium, lighting flares even before the match ended.

Virgil van Dijk and his teammates linked arms in front of The Kop to sing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” alongside emotional supporters and stadium staff.
