Liverpool Set to Complete Hungarian National Team Defender Transfer

Milos Kerkez — Hungary national team left-back — is on the verge of joining Liverpool for a transfer fee of 40 million pounds. The 21-year-old defender has agreed to a five-year contract at Anfield.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed the deal is final:

“Milos Kerkez is not listening to any other calls or approaches as he will join Liverpool. It’s just a matter of time and technical steps.”

The player’s father, Sebastjan Kerkez, also confirmed his son’s move:

“For us, only Liverpool matters and we won’t go anywhere else. Everything has been agreed between us.”

Kerkez started his career in AC Milan’s academy before flourishing at AZ Alkmaar — recording 5 goals and 7 assists in 52 appearances. At Bournemouth, his performance continued to improve with 2 goals and 6 assists from 41 matches last season.

The move appears imminent after Bournemouth secured Adrien Truffert from Rennes as his replacement. Liverpool plans to make Kerkez the successor to Andy Robertson on their left defensive flank.
