Liverpool plans to loan Federico Chiesa to AS Roma

Federico Chiesa — Liverpool’s sole signing at the start of this season — is reportedly set to be loaned to AS Roma to rebuild his career.

The Italian winger joined The Reds from Juventus for a transfer fee of 15 million euros — consisting of 13 million euros upfront payment and 2 million euros in bonuses.

The transfer agreement aligned with Juventus’ intention to part ways with Chiesa, while Liverpool secured the player on a four-year contract — set to expire in June 2028.
