Liverpool Officially Signs Hugo Ekitike from Frankfurt for Massive Fee

Hugo Ekitike has officially joined Liverpool after the Premier League club reached a transfer agreement with Eintracht Frankfurt.

“Liverpool has reached an agreement for the transfer of Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike. The 23-year-old has successfully completed his medical examination and agreed personal terms with The Reds,” reads the club’s official statement.

The French striker will soon join the Liverpool squad currently conducting pre-season training in Hong Kong.

Liverpool has spent 95 million euros to acquire Ekitike — consisting of an 82.5 million euro transfer fee and 12.5 million euro in additional bonuses. This transfer value makes the former PSG striker one of the most expensive purchases in Liverpool’s history and among French players.
