Liverpool Consider Selling Federico Chiesa This Summer

Liverpool are reportedly considering selling Federico Chiesa — the winger signed from Juventus last year for a transfer fee of €12 million. The 27-year-old has failed to meet expectations at Anfield, recording just one goal and one assist in 14 appearances across all competitions.

The son of Italian football legend, Enrico Chiesa, Federico is now attracting interest from several Serie A clubs, including AS Roma, Fiorentina, and Bologna.

The Reds are planning to sign a young winger, such as Malick Fofana from Lyon, as Chiesa’s replacement during the summer transfer window. However, this move will only materialize if Chiesa is sold permanently to one of the Italian clubs.
