Liverpool Clinch 20th Premier League Title After Beating Tottenham

Liverpool made history by securing their 20th Premier League title with an impressive 5-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur at Anfield.

Thousands of fans filled the area around the stadium — climbing trees and scaffolding to welcome their team before the match began. A festive atmosphere with red smoke filled the air as Arne Slot’s side entered the pitch.

Dominic Solanke opened the scoring for Tottenham Hotspur in the 12th minute, but Liverpool quickly responded. Luis Díaz equalized, followed by goals from Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo in the first half.

Mohamed Salah added the fourth goal — becoming the all-time leading foreign goalscorer in Premier League history. An own goal by Destiny Udogie completed Liverpool’s dominant performance.

The victory allowed Liverpool to equal Manchester United’s record of 20 league titles. Unlike their 2020 title, which was celebrated without fans due to the pandemic, this time 60,000 supporters could celebrate directly at the stadium.
