Litton Das Optimistic About Different Mirpur Pitch Conditions for Pakistan Series

Ahead of the T20I series against Pakistan, Bangladesh captain Litton Das emphasizes that pitch conditions in Mirpur will differ from previous series.

Salman Agha, Pakistan’s captain, states his team will maintain their aggressive approach — a strategy that led them to a 3-0 victory over Bangladesh earlier this year.

“I agree that the 2021 series had an adverse effect on our batters,” said Litton Das. “Even I could have become a bowler on those pitches. But I don’t think that will repeat this time. I have seen a good wicket.”

Statistics show — the average first-innings score in ten night T20I matches at Mirpur is less than 125 runs. However, recent BPL conditions showed improvement, with some teams reaching scores of 190-200.
