Relegation Battle Heats Up: Five Liga 1 Clubs at Risk After PSIS Drop

PSIS Semarang has officially been relegated from Liga 1 to Liga 2 following a 1-1 draw between Persebaya and Semen Padang in week 32, as reported by Bolasport.com.

Previously, PSIS’s 1-2 defeat to PSS Sleman left them stranded at the bottom of the league table with only 25 points, placing them in an unrecoverable position.

The result between Persebaya and Semen Padang became the final blow — confirming PSIS Semarang’s relegation.

Five clubs in danger of joining PSIS in Liga 2

As the season nears its conclusion, five more clubs are still in the danger zone and risk following PSIS Semarang down to Liga 2:

  • Semen Padang (15th place, 32 points)

  • PSS Sleman

  • Barito Putera

  • Madura United

  • Persis Solo

With the relegation battle intensifying, these clubs will need critical performances in the final matches to avoid the drop.
