Liga Padel 2025 Jakarta ready to start with 32 participating communities

Steven Walangitan, Secretary of the Jakarta Indonesian Padel Association (PBPI), announced the organization of Liga Padel 2025 — an event designed to strengthen the presence of padel sports in Indonesia.

This competition, which will run for 15 weeks, involves 32 padel communities — competing at renowned venues such as Smash Padel and Republic Padel every Sunday on a rotating basis.

The match format for each inter-community meeting includes:
* Three men’s doubles matches
* One women’s doubles match
* One mixed doubles match

“This league focuses on beginner participants. This is an important step because currently there are very few high-level players. We need many new players to strengthen the competition ladder,” explained Walangitan.

Adi Dwi, Project Manager of SIP Sports Club added, “This league focuses on community, competition, and connection. We believe every community deserves to perform and showcase their skills on the big stage.”
