Liga Indonesia All Star suffers heavy defeat against Oxford United in Piala Presiden

Coach Rahmad Darmawan expressed his disappointment after Liga Indonesia All Star was overwhelmed by Oxford United with a score of 3-6 in the opening match of Group A Piala Presiden 2025 at the Gelora Bung Karno Main Stadium, Jakarta.

The English visitors immediately showed their dominance — Mark Harris opened the scoring in the fourth minute and doubled the lead in the 30th minute.

Oxford United managed to add four more goals through:

• Michal Helik (45th minute)
• Thomas Bradshaw (53rd minute)
• Przemyslaw Placheta (56th minute)
• Brian De Keersmaecker (68th minute)

Liga Indonesia All Star scored three consolation goals through Riko Simanjuntak in the 14th minute, followed by Rizki Dwi in the 75th minute, and Eksel Runtukahu in the 80th minute — but it wasn’t enough to avoid a heavy defeat from the English League side.
