Liga 4 Indonesia Hit by Controversy After Non-Transparent Drawing by PSSI Official

Controversy hit the Indonesian Liga 4 competition after the group stage drawing process conducted by Dessy Arfianto — PSSI Chairman for the Special Region of Yogyakarta — sparked heavy public criticism.

The incident began during last week’s official draw ceremony, where video footage circulated showing a questionable and non-transparent process. Dessy Arfianto was seen placing drawing balls under the table before abruptly presenting the selection paper, raising concerns over the fairness of the draw.
