Liga 1 transfer market: Persija and PSIM secure new foreign players

The transfer window for Liga 1 2025/2026 is now active — participating teams are busy strengthening their squads ahead of the August kick-off.

Van Basty Sousa has officially joined Persija Jakarta on a one-year contract. The Brazilian midfielder — who previously played for Clube Nautico Capibaribe — will reinforce the Macan Kemayoran’s midfield.

Meanwhile, PSIM has secured the services of Rahmatsho Rahmatzoda — the Uzbekistan player who previously wore Barqchi Hisor colors in the Tajikistan League.
