Li Shi Feng Edges Thailand in Rubber Game at Sudirman

Asian Games 2023 champion Li Shi Feng extended China’s lead over Thailand in the Sudirman Cup 2025 Group A match at Xiamen Fenghuang Gymnasium, after a tough rubber-game battle against Kantaphon Wangcharoen.

The head-to-head record now stands at 5–1 in favor of Li, following a fiercely contested encounter in China today.

In the opening game, Kantaphon Wangcharoen surprised the crowd with a five-point run, forcing the Chinese shuttler to fight back from behind.

Although Li Shi Feng scored his first point with a powerful smash to the left side, Wangcharoen maintained his lead up to 9–5 before Li narrowed the gap to 6–9.
